Our Story

Who We Are

We are a non-profit organization committed to transforming lives through a holistic approach to human development. Our mission is threefold:
  • Combating Malnutrition – We work to eliminate malnutrition in vulnerable communities by providing nutritional education, food assistance, and sustainable agricultural solutions. Our goal is to ensure that every child and adult has access to the nourishment they need to thrive physically and mentally.
  • Entrepreneurship Awareness & Empowerment – We believe in the power of self-reliance. Through training programs, mentorship, and access to resources, we equip individuals—especially youth and women—with the tools and knowledge they need to start and grow their own businesses. We aim to foster innovation, financial independence, and long-term community development.
  • Spreading the Word of God – At the heart of our mission is the Gospel. We are dedicated to sharing the love and truth of Jesus Christ through outreach, discipleship programs, and community fellowship. We believe spiritual growth is essential to true transformation.

    USAID

In 2022, with support from the American People through USAID and Kenyatta University, Gates of Hope implemented the "Unmasking My Lonely Box" mental health project.
